The Australian Rollout

The Australian Rollout

KleanLoop is deployed first on Klean's Australian tire recycling initiative with Viva Energy, proving the transparency layer on a live project before it is offered to every new TyreNova licensee.

The Australian project is the natural first home for KleanLoop. It is a flagship development, not a demonstration: Klean is advancing an initiative with Viva Energy to build a tire recycling facility capable of processing up to 80,000 tonnes of end-of-life tires each year, with the resulting tire pyrolysis oil intended for co-processing at Viva Energy's Geelong refinery. A project at that scale, feeding an established refiner, has exactly the stakeholders — feedstock suppliers, an offtaker, regulators and financiers — who require verified provenance.

Why it matters

Co-processing at a refinery is only accepted when the feedstock can be proven clean and consistent. That is the problem KleanLoop solves on this project: recording the tires in, the oil out, and the quality and carbon data along the way, so the oil meets the refinery's specification with a documented chain of custody behind it.

From flagship to standard

The Australian rollout does two jobs at once. It proves KleanLoop against a demanding commercial counterparty, and it establishes the reference for every facility that follows. What is learned at Geelong — which events matter, what a refinery needs to see, how the data should be presented — becomes the template for the platform offered to new TyreNova licensees globally.

A flagship that sets the standard

The Australian deployment is where KleanLoop earns the credibility that makes it worth adding to every TyreNova plant worldwide.
