The TyreNova Technology Stack
The TyreNova Technology Stack
KleanLoop sits on top of TyreNova, Klean's continuous tire pyrolysis technology, delivered through KBR and instrumented by Yokogawa.
Transparency is meaningless without a process worth watching. KleanLoop exists because the TyreNova line already converts end-of-life tires into commercial-grade recovered carbon black, tire pyrolysis oil and steel — and because the partners around that process make its data reliable, not just available.
TyreNova — the process
TyreNova is Klean's proprietary, commercially proven tire pyrolysis platform. Three interdependent stages — a kiln, a quench and a thermal afterburner — run as a continuous flow rather than a start-stop batch, holding emissions down while keeping recovered carbon black quality consistent. The technology was acquired from Carbon Resources Recovery GmbH and has run at commercial scale for close to a decade, producing recovered carbon black, tire pyrolysis oil and steel as offtake-ready products.
KBR — the delivery
Klean and KBR hold an exclusive alliance under which KBR leads worldwide sales, marketing, engineering and project delivery for TyreNova, while Klean supplies the technology, technical leadership, operator training and project development. That pairing is what takes a licensed TyreNova plant from a process to a delivered, operating asset — and what gives every plant the same engineering discipline behind its data.
Yokogawa — the instrumentation
Yokogawa brings industrial automation, AI and digital-twin capability to the resource-recovery process. That is the layer that generates the plant's measurements — flows, temperatures, throughput and quality — in a form KleanLoop can record. Reliable traceability starts with reliable instrumentation; the Yokogawa layer is why the numbers KleanLoop writes down are readings, not estimates.

A process worth measuring, made measurable
TyreNova, KBR and Yokogawa give KleanLoop a foundation most recycling platforms do not have: an engineered process, a delivery partner and truthful instrument data.
